Last Friday, Siouxsie received Honor Roll at school. Hubie and I were able to attend since we both had the day off. She is so smart and cute.
My beautiful daughter-in-law hates to have her picture taken. So i was trying to be sneaky.
Then I decided to hide behind a tree on the street.
The super adorable new cousin that was flirting with me at the restaurant.

Took my nieces to Disneyland last week. We were able to see a lot of Disney characters, which I didn't see the two visits before. About half of the Halloween decorations were still up and they had started decorating for Christmas. Love it.
I guess I didn't get enough pictures off of my computer today because it is taking forever to download.

Every Halloween we go to our friend's house, the Burns family, to go trick or treating. We started doing this about 6 years ago when our kid's were grown. They make dinner, the guys hang out in the driveway passing out candy and the girls take the kids out. It was extra nice this year because my husband wasn't stuck in traffic coming home from work. On Halloween his drive always doubles, going from 1 1/12 hours to 3 hours to get home. He works only 45 miles from home. Gotta love southern California traffic.
The cute little witch in the middle is their neighbor.
The pictures are taking a really long time to download this morning. I guess, I need to clear some picture files of my computer today. It seems to take forever. At least it is Monday.

I'm trying to get caught up around here after an amazing busy weekend. We had so much fun. These are pictures from the carnival at church on Halloween. We took the girls in the morning then they went their separate ways to go trick or treating.
My little Rosetta.
Morrigan wouldn't have anything to do with the Tink costume she picked out. She just wanted to wear her purple tutu.
My girls LOVE cotton candy. After the carnival, we all went out for pizza. The girls were so tired - that all of us took a nap before a night of trick or treating. Kayleigh liked Halloween so much, she wanted to do it again the next day. She loved being Rosetta and wore her wings to church the next day. Now, she wants me to make her different color wings. Of course Grandma can with a matching tutu of course.

It is going to be an extremely busy weekend. There is one school award assembly, one high school football game, two Christmas tutus to make, 5 photo shoots, one birthday party and a Casino night fundraiser for the golf foundation which includes an overnight stay at a hotel on Saturday. Husband gets to play golf at one of his bucket list golf course's tomorrow. So excited for him.
I'm going to take an extra long nap on Monday.

Last Wednesday, we took the oldest granddaughter, Siouxsie to Disneyland for her 7th birthday. We had so much fun. I got to ride the big people rides this trip. Her parents kept it a secret and she didn't know until we pulled into the parking lot.
She was so excited that she was finally tall enough to ride Indiana Jones. She rode it twice.
She loves the Haunted Mansion especially at Halloween and Christmas because of Jack Scary.

I love going to Disneyland, it is magical to me. Everyone is so happy when they are in the park. I really enjoy looking at the faces of the children, when they see things. Last Tuesday, Jason, my sister and I took the two youngest granddaughters - Kayleigh and Morrigan for the day. We had such a good time. Kayleigh has her favorite rides. She loves Dumbo. We waited in line for 45 minutes to see Tinker (which is Morrigan's favorite) and they never complained.
Morrigan DID NOT like the jungle cruise.
Kayleigh let me braid her hair when we hanging out in the Nemo line. She looked so cute, but she ended up pulling it out.
I was really excited when these underwater, through the glass of the submarine pictures turned out.
And of course, the Mouse.
Can't wait to take the girls back again.

I can't believe that my first week of my vacation is gone. I have gone to Disneyland - 3 times, with 3 different groups of family. There was Halloween, lunch with a friend, golf with hubby, hooking up a big screen TV (ok, I was there for moral support) and 2 football games. The JV kids begged me to come to the game, so how could I resist their cute little, stinky faces. They were so excited when I showed up. A couple of my favorite shots.
I love the shots when I get them in the air.
We got a big screen TV this weekend from someone that works with my husband. 57 inches, it is huge. We hooked it up on Sunday and were able to watch both the football and baseball game last night. Very cool. He also, gave me an entertainment center that I am going to put in my sewing/craft room to help organize all my junk, I mean treasures. So I am hoping to clear out the room today and have the boys move it into my room. I'm excited about being able to find everything, again.
Also, need to edit photos and I have a photo shoot this afternoon. Pretty exciting.

Today, is my grand-daughter's 7th birthday. Four years ago, my son started dating her mom. She has been my grand-daughter since the first time I met her. She is adorable, smart and sweet. I am the luckiest grandma in the world. We are taking her to Disneyland today for her birthday. Yesterday, I took the other two grand-daughters. We are having so much fun.
These are from her Hollywood birthday party last Saturday. The reason she is so beautiful - is because of her gorgeous mom, Nikki.
Have a great day!
